San Tan Valley Communities serves as a hub for local resources, community knowledge, and civic engagement. On September 17, 2025, San Tan Valley officially became an incorporated town. This milestone follows years of challenges and uncertainty as our community has worked toward greater organization and a stronger identity. Residents have long faced confusion around services and jurisdictions—neighbors on the same street may have different utility providers, fire protection services, or even mailing addresses. Over time, annexations by Queen Creek and Florence have shifted boundaries, leaving some neighborhoods with a San Tan Valley address while receiving and paying for services from surrounding towns. Zip codes have changed twice in the past 20 years, adding to the complexity, while overlapping school district boundaries continue to create uncertainty for families.

Despite these challenges, San Tan Valley is growing—and with growth comes opportunity. By fostering collaboration and making information more accessible, we can strengthen our shared identity and ensure San Tan Valley thrives as it transitions into an incorporated town. By connecting with each HOA and community group throughout San Tan Valley, we can ensure every neighborhood has a voice and plays a role in shaping the future of our new town.
